Goat Sales Contract

This contract is for the sale of the following goat(s) herein referred to as "the goat" for the total sum following after each of the goat(s)' name:

To: 

herein referred to as the Buyer.  Each party will have responsibilities for this exchange as follows:

Nazworthy Acres is responsible for and will:

- Feed, house, and provide basic maintenance, heath care and worming to the goat until the agreed upon pick up date, unless other agreement is made.

- Give possession of the goat to Buyer on the agreed upon date after full payment is made.

 ~ Nazworthy Acres  will have all Nubian kids registered with the ADGA before going to their new homes, at our expense.  We will also have all Myotonic kids registered with the registry of the buyers choice, the Myotonic Goat Registry, the Mini Silky Fainting Goat Association or the International Fainting Goat Association before going to their new homes, at our expense.
Membership forms will be provided and encouraged to join if non-members.


The Buyer is responsible for and will:

- Pick up the goat on or before   
 

- Pay the FULL purchase price with Cash, Cashiers Check, or Money Order 3 weeks before pick-up.

- Pay for, and provide, adequate transportation of the goat - All goats must be transported in an adequately sized, covered, ventilated, safe vehicle where they may comfortably, and safely, stand, turn around, and lay down.  The buyer must inform Nazworthy Acres how the goats will be transported before the pick up date.  If the buyer shows up to pick up the goat(s) with what Nazworthy Acres determines to be unsatisfactory and/or unsafe transportation, Nazworthy Acres retains the right to refuse to release the goat(s).

- Pay for Veterinary Health Certificate required by law for interstate travel and fees charged by Vet for farm call and animal examination/tests.

- Wethering (if requested) fee - $25.00 each (included in total)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 - The down payment is non-refundable.  If the Buyer decides to cancel the purchase, their down payment will not be refunded.

- Down Payment is due when the Buyer commits to purchase the goat.

- If the goat is not picked up within a week of the agreed upon date, the Buyer forfeits the animal as well as the down payment, unless we have agreed on other arrangements in writing.

- By paying a non-refundable deposit, or non-refundable down payment, the buyer agrees to, and is bound by, all terms, conditions and responsibilities laid out in this contract.

- By signing this contract the buyer agrees that they have read, and understand, this entire contract and they agree to all the responsibilities, terms and conditions laid out herein.
